Question by Dallas: Does teaching high school require lots of work at home?
I want to go into education and I understand it will require time outside of work to plan lessons but will the majority of my evenings be preparing lectures? Also how is being a teacher, i have done lots of volunteering with kids and even gave science lectures to elementary kids and enjoyed it, but how is it as a high school teacher.

Whether and how much work a teacher does at home and on weekends depends partly on the teacher, but also on the subject taught. English teachers have LOTS of work to do at home!
