I do not know about you but I love having a minimum of cleaning up after meals. And one of the best ways to accomplish this is with food pan. Try Italian food pan soon. Your family will thank you, especially if your job is to clean after dinner! With this one will pan a meal that includes vegetables, onion, tomato and spinach. Also in cheese dairy and eggs. You have the tortellini pasta, olive oil and spices healthy. That?s a lot of nutrition in a pan. The other advantage is time. This dinner table is ready in thirty minutes. Serve with garlic bread and fresh fruit to complete your /> ITALIAN SKILLET DINNER
1 / 2 cup chopped onion
2 teaspoon dried basil 1 teaspoon
dried oregano 1 teaspoon salt
garlic 2 tablespoons olive oil
1 can (15 ounces) crushed tomatoes 1 cup
hot water 1 package (9 ounces) refrigerated cheese tortellini
a cardboard box (15 ounces) low fat ricotta cheese 1 egg
1 / 4 cup grated Parmesan cheese 1 package
(10 ounces) frozen chopped spinach, thawed and squeezed dry 1 cup
mozzarella cheese
salt In a large skillet, saute the onion, basil, oregano and garlic in oil for two minutes. Add the tomatoes and hot water, bring to a boil. Add tortellini, cover and cook 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Mix the ricotta cheese, egg and Parmesan cheese. Drop spoonfuls of spinach and ricotta then the mixture over the pasta. Cover with mozzarella cheese. Cover and cook 10 minutes more or until ricotta mixture is set. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
